June Partner Letter 2020

Dear Partner,

This month, Cindy wanted to share with you a testimony from one of our volunteers.  Her name is Lorene Mast and she calls it:  

A life changed by Shekinah Glory Ministries

In 2005 Shekinah Glory Ministries came to my local church. I was very hungry for more of God. I was born again in 2004, but I grew up in the Amish community and was a young lady searching for more answers.  I had grown up with severe rejection, hopelessness, and was brokenhearted! I had no voice, no dreams, and my personality was shut down!  But when I came out of the Amish, I begin to see there’s a whole new world to discover in God. It was  what I was searching for!

Back to the SGM meeting.  I remember what row and the seat where I was sitting.  Cindy started preaching that it doesn’t matter what background or education you come from, God has a plan for you.  Something sparked on the inside of me.  It was the Holy Spirit talking to my heart, I took ahold and I never let go!  When they laid their hands on me, the healing anointing of laughter came on me, saturating me with the anointing of God, to where I was drunk!  I truly believe as I was laughing under the anointing of Gods’ presence, bondages and yokes were being destroyed.

Over the years I have stayed connected with them. Their music has ministered to me so many times. Also their teaching on the local church and how important it is to have a Pastor and serve in your local church. Staying connected to a local church kept me through some very rough times. It was a safe place for me to be loved and grow in God! If I didn’t stay connected to a local church, I would not know where I would be today.

In 2014, I attended Rhema Bible College. I also started serving them however I could. I can’t even begin to say how much they have ministered to me.  They believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, taught me about forgiveness, and my identity in Christ – that old things have passed away, behold everything has become brand new and when you look in a rearview mirror, you can’t go forward! 

I had the honor of going with SGM on a mission trip to France in June 2019. It was a life changing experience!  Before I knew I was going on a mission trip to France, I told the Lord that I would like to share my testimony in front of a congregation. Little did I know, I would share it with the precious people of Europe. 

Without you partners , my life would not be the same!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you  for sending SGM all over the world. My life is forever changed – and they keep pouring into the lives of so many others!
